|Seniors||Year 12 & 13 students...free lunches!||JST|
|Two free lunches with a handy qualification and four Level 2 credits on the side! WHS, the TET (Taranaki Electricity Trust) and Feats (a fully-accredited private education provider) will present a free two-day Food Safety Training Course (Unit Standard 167) in the July school holidays. If you already have NCEA Level 2, the credits themselves won't help you, but US167 is required to work in many food-related workplaces. It is for those looking to make a career in hospitality or anywhere food is handled (flight attendant, early childhood centre, supermarket, etc.). It is also a handy qualification to have if you need part-time employment in a food-related job (while at uni or polytech, etc.). The course will be held in Waitara and it is vital you attend both days. Lunch and workbooks are provided. Interested? Please see Ms Steenson, Careers, asap. Spaces are limited! Dates will be confirmed when numbers are known.
